Mwana Baby Home: Our new Mwana Home!
http://www.news.mwana.ca/2015/01/our-new-mwana-home.html
Our new Mwana Home! During the rainy season, one particularly hard rain flooded the baby home, filling the home with dirty water, leaking sewage, and damaging the foundation. While the baby home was cleaned, the mamas and babies were cared for at Cheryl and Lambert's home. The Laki-Laka kids pitched in to help care for a very full house! Stories and Accomplishments: Renewed Hope for Maman Emile and her teenagers
http://www.stories.mwana.ca/2014/03/maman-emilie.html
Renewed Hope for Maman Emile and her teenagers. Maman Emilie is a widow with three children. Her husband died in 2012 and since then she has been struggling to make ends meet. Their sleeping conditions were not good.they were all sleeping on ripped, dirty, old foams on the floor with no sheets or mosquito nets, so we gave them new beds and bedding and mosquito nets as well. Then we bought them a freezer and a cooler and start up ingredients to sell cold drinks. Have been coming for literacy classes.

Meet the Team: Our Founders
http://www.meettheteam.mwana.ca/p/our-founders-their-story.html
Everyone advised them against it and thought Cheryl was raving mad to decide to go someplace she had never even seen before. Lambert and Cheryl used all the money they had made from the sale of the house to pay for the container to ship their car and furniture, and for their plane tickets. They sold everything they had to pay for the tickets to return home. They came back to Montreal and started over in a two-bedroom apartment with used furniture and no car… and a fourth child on the way! If they had the...
