The $900 Facebook pony. Your favorite horse and rider of all time. August 6, 2015. Monday, June 29, 2015. Did we keep you in total suspense? Sorry it took a few days to resolve this cliff hanger! I'll tell you why in a minute. But, let's get to the point here, eh? We're moving back to our old barn in August. When I left my old barn in May, it was a sad Sunday. I was really glad no one other than me, hubs and one other person were there that morning as we packed up and I barely held back tears. Hat will I do when winter comes and it's dark early and he's a total mud ball? The only con o...

http://eyeonthehorse.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. This week I graduated Pongo from timed interval rides to just plain rides. This is the biggest blessing and I cannot stop this silly grin I have on my face. I AM RIDING MY HORSE. From a short pastern broken clear across horizontally in May to a full recovery {where he feels ten times BETTER than he did before he was injured} by December is nothing short of a miracle. What I will say is out of this mess I saw God's goodness in so many ways. In the way he allowed my husband to ca...

The Polka Dot Periodical: Abandonment Issues?
http://eyeonthehorse.blogspot.com/2015/07/abandonment-issues.html
Friday, July 03, 2015. Well that'll teach me to go 48 hours without visiting my horse. Arrived at the barn today (with hubs who always manages to come to the barn on days where Pongo has managed to put himself in a medically undesirable situation) to find my horse had a gash on his right hind leg. We got the full wound experience, pus, blood, swelling.yay! It was nasty, but I think mainly just angry because it'd gone untreated. He wasn't lame on it, in fact it took me a couple minutes to even notice it.
