Saturday, December 11, 2010. For a week in November, I enjoyed the humid air and warm waters of the Riviera Maya. To avoid the built up party atmosphere typically associated with Cancun and Playa del Carmen, we headed south to the growing pueblo of Tulum. Finally, we visited the Tulum site, at the sea-side, garden-filled location. This site was most recently occupied in the 15th century when the Spanish occupied the Yucatan. Saturday, May 31, 2014. More Sea Room in the Exumas. It was only one month prior to my departure to the Bahamas that I received an email from Chip ( Maine sailing. Saying we would be sailing around the Exuma Cays. Upon reading this I immediately Googled Exuma Cays to see where they were on a map. Though very unlike me, I did little research before this trip, so it was only at this time that I learned there are 700 islands that make up the Bahamas, and over 2,400 cays (coral reefs). Shallows in Exuma Park.

In fact, our little miss Seneca Rose started smiling spontaneously for us shortly after her 1 month birthday, around 4.5 weeks. My mom has noticed little dimples on the sides of her mouth, and her eyes really pop whenever she flashes that adorable toothless grin. She definitely has Mom and Dad wrapped around her finger, she is such a sweet little girl. Even her feet make us smile! All fed up and workin' that neck!
