A Case of the Blogs: A Guide To Feeling Christmassy
http://blogofverse.blogspot.com/2011/12/guide-to-feeling-christmassy.html
A Case of the Blogs. Saturday, 24 December 2011. A Guide To Feeling Christmassy. First of all, regress. Immediately. Remember when the month of December was the slowest moving time of the year, and Christmas Eve would never end? We've all got too many distractions from the Christmas time and spirit which is why far too many people are saying, even on the 24th, "It doesn't feel like Christmas". Get it down ye! Mulled wine, turkey dinners, every place in town has a Christmas option coming up to the holiday!

A Case of the Blogs: January 2012

A Case of the Blogs. Tuesday, 31 January 2012. We Learned More From A Three Minute Record Than We Ever Did In School. Posted by Debbie McCormack. When I heard Martin Scorsese was making a kids film I was pretty excited, but it wasn't until I heard it was largely abot George Méliès that I ran to see it at first opportunity. Méliès is largely tied to this image here below:. He achieved success but it did not last his whole life- he ended up with most of his films destroyed, poor and working in Mountparnass...

A Case of the Blogs. Tuesday, 31 January 2012. When I heard Martin Scorsese was making a kids film I was pretty excited, but it wasn't until I heard it was largely abot George Méliès that I ran to see it at first opportunity. Méliès is largely tied to this image here below:. This is from the 1902 silent movie named Voyage Dans La Lune or A Trip To The Moon. It is often speculated to be the first science-fiction film. He achieved success but it did not last his whole life- he ended up with most of his fil...

A Case of the Blogs: T-Shirt proverb: Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost/ New Zealand.

A Case of the Blogs. Thursday, 28 February 2013. T-Shirt proverb: Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost/ New Zealand. I saw that on a shirt out there and haven't forgotten it! I have been lucky enough to come from a family that loves to travel. I used to hate it- sitting cooped up in the middle of a very hot car, driving for hours on end. But as I grew up I came to love it; the freedom, the chance to see something new. But thankfully, it wasn't a pipe dream, and we left in January. Auckland used to be the ca...

A Case of the Blogs: April 2011
http://blogofverse.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
A Case of the Blogs. Sunday, 3 April 2011. This is a post dedicated to my mother, Rachel McCormack (1952-2005). And this is her:. She always told me never to cut or change my hair, because my hair was her hair. That should explain a thing or two. She made the greatest birthday cake. Seriously, the BEST. I think of her everytime I see a crocus, because in our old house, they would grow all over the garden and as soon as Spring hit she would send me out to see how many I could count. So, I would like to te...

A Case of the Blogs: Decisions
http://blogofverse.blogspot.com/2012/01/decisions.html
A Case of the Blogs. Monday, 16 January 2012. So new year, resolutions and stuff. I am in a full time job, which I am grateful for. But I can't help noticing that I'm nearly 23 and I have not filled my time with the things I wanted to originally. QUARTER LIFE CRISIS! So I need an adventure, something to plan and look forward to. I have made a decision, to use my new boring full time job to fund my journey to this place:. Yes please. I'll start there. Posted by Debbie McCormack. Who the SAM HILL was that?

A Case of the Blogs: March 2011
http://blogofverse.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
A Case of the Blogs. Monday, 28 March 2011. So having got my memory card reader into gear again, I've found a whole lotta photos from recent times. Including which are some from the Ulster Folk Museum. The best part of this entire place in my biased opinion is The Picture House- the turn-of-the-century style cinema consisting of benches, a wall for a screen, a piano for soundtracking and this old beauty of a projector:. Posted by Debbie McCormack. Thursday, 24 March 2011. Return of the WiFi. I am still d...
