365 Days At Large. Day 365: Postscript Berlin. The first theme I noticed is colour. Berlin was once a very grey city. Ordinary buildings like apartments were built of brick and stuccoed over. Public buildings were often done in a local limestone, giving them a tannish colour and a characteristic pockmarked texture from the little fossilised seashells inside.
