It’s more of a fun exercise to serve as a reminder of this season of my life. 200 dollars for groceries. 98 servings of fruit. 4 different grocery stores. 10 loads of laundry. 14 cups of coffee. 7 trips to ballet. 4 trips to Church. 1 bake sale to bake for. 1 coffee date with Carl. 32 Lego pieces in the bathroom sink.

If I have an hour to sit, think, pray and be by myself, this is where I want to go: The Rodin Room at the Cleveland Museum of Art. On the second floor, just outside the 1916 building is a large glass room filled with Rodin sculptures. Even on a cold, cloudy day, the room seems to soak up sun and warmth of its rays. With Carl’s past mrsa history, infection is a serious risk and there’s a small risk that the bowel could be perforated during surgery. He’s been warned that it is a very painful recovery. As I wrote in my last post, my recent visit with my grandma and uncle stirred up quite of few childhood memories. It’s almost impossible to see my Uncle and not reflect upon my Dad.
