My life unscripted and uncensored. How the Justice stole Christmas. Posted on December 27, 2013. We all know the story of the Grinch. How he came into Whoville and stole all the gifts from the families because of his total dislike of Christmas. Recently a very large group of shoppers have felt the same pain through the store Justice. But let’s get back to the story at hand…. And dial the new number. Send… disconnect… Send… disconnect…. Their facebook page was filled with irritated customers. And this is ...

I Fly By Night: Yet Another Vignette From The Necklace
http://iflybynight.blogspot.com/2015/05/yet-another-vignette-from-necklace.html
Friday, May 15, 2015. Yet Another Vignette From The Necklace. Cassie found him tangled deep in the jungle ball. She saw the feet first, toe thumbs pointing in, curled. Ustin! She reached out and grabbed his naked foot. Nothing. No pulse. Oh, God! She called in on her comm, asking for medevac, gently untangling Ustin from the branches as she waited. Cassie knew better than to move him, but she could move the branches around him. She double checked when she could reach his throat. No pulse. Yet Another Vig...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. February 12, 2015. For a little Thursday fun for people playing games online with Roll20, let’s hear what your Roll20 stats look like! Specifically, how many hours have you played using Roll20? I noticed this little piece of information a few weeks back when I was prepping my Shudder Mountain DCC campaign. I thought it would be interesting to see how much Roll20 time other people have logged. Here is how to check your stats. Login to Roll20.net. On Mond...

Strange Magic: The Bard for Basic D&D
http://strangemagic.robertsongames.com/2012/03/bard-for-basic-d.html
Mar 27, 2012. The Bard for Basic D&D. In AD&D the Bard was a convoluted mess, and the designers seemed to recognize this and put it in the Appendixes as optional material. Go to level X in one class, change to another class, go to level X, change again etc. Honestly I don't know how many people actually levelled up a Bard in this manner compared to the number that were just created for one-shot high level adventures. Now, I know musicians would accompany an army. Ridiculous is just too much. Identify Mag...

Strange Magic: Paladins and Anti-Paladins for Basic D&D
http://strangemagic.robertsongames.com/2012/03/paladins-and-anti-paladins-for-basic-d.html
Mar 26, 2012. Paladins and Anti-Paladins for Basic D&D. The Paladin was added to D&D really early in the game's history - in Supplement I: Greyhawk at the same time the Thief class was introduced. While the idea. Of the Paladin, and later the Anti-Paladin. Is interesting and a part of the game's history. there was just so much wrong with it from the outset. Than regular fighters. Why be a fighter when you get all sorts of extras for being a Paladin? Create something for OSR D&D. Note: Bracketed text appl...

Strange Magic: Game Prop for Tracking Torchlight
http://strangemagic.robertsongames.com/2015/01/game-prop-for-tracking-torchlight.html
Jan 21, 2015. Game Prop for Tracking Torchlight. This morning there was a discussion on Google. About how to make timekeeping in D&D easier, while not ignoring it so that things like a character's supply of torches remains relevant. Roger. Had the idea that you could recruit a player to do this, in the same way some groups assign a caller, and a mapper. You could make another card for a lantern which had more space on it for tokens, representing it's longer burning time on a flask of oil. A New OSR Logo.

Strange Magic: Starting Character Age for OSR Games
http://strangemagic.robertsongames.com/2015/01/starting-character-age-for-osr-games.html
Jan 13, 2015. Starting Character Age for OSR Games. Did anyone playing AD&D use the ability score adjustments on page 13 of the DMG for character aging? We never did, because we never really played long enough for the character to age. There'd certainly be an incentive to play a middle-aged or older Cleric or Wizard - which is more in keeping with certain fantasy fiction.. Strange Magic: Random Encounters with High Level NPCs

Jan 16, 2015. Random Encounters with High Level NPCs. What do you do though if you want to set an entire campaign in the same location, such as a city. Do you keep the monsters and NPCs the players are interacting with scaled to their level? Do you try and keep the adventure tied to different areas of the city, where the docks are low-level, the thieves district is mid-level, and the magic district is high-level? Strange Magic: Bene Gesserit for B/X D&D
http://strangemagic.robertsongames.com/2012/09/bene-gesserit-for-bx-d.html
Sep 26, 2012. Bene Gesserit for B/X D&D. This is the 3rd version of a Bene Gesserit class I've posted, with each version becoming progressively more streamlined. This uses the excellent suggestion by Talysman. To use the Cleric's turning mechanics for things other than turning undead. In this case we'll use it for "The Voice". Unarmed Attacks: d6 damage. Unarmored AC Adjustment: 3 [-3]. Can only cast spells that affect the character directly. Gom Jabbar - No Damage, Save vs Poison. New DIY DM Screen.
