La Casa Cobian: June 2012
http://lacasacobian.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 24, 2012. A Week of Firsts. FIRST TIME GOING TO CHURCH WITH ALL FIVE CHILDREN ALONE. FIRST TIME RUBEN WORE A BOW TIE TO CHURCH. He had never done that before, and as you can see, he was pretty tickled about it. He thought he looked like a waiter. I ordered a water on the rocks and told him he looked very handsome. We'll send you the guest list. It will be Marcos's first birthday party and we'd like it to be very special. Sunday, June 17, 2012. Speaking of Omar, he turned one month old on Fri...

La Casa Cobian: May 2011

Thursday, May 5, 2011. Feliz Dia de Las Madres. While I was looking for a Mother's Day card for my mother-in-law today, I saw one that said, "You're not my mom, you're my wife." I didn't read the inside, but I thought it could aptly say, "So why are you the one buying my mom a Mother's Day card? Do you think your mom would like to go with us tomorrow? Oh yeah. I think she really would. Is that okay with you? Yeah" Why wouldn't it be? Oh Um No. Do you want her to? What could I say? We were planning to hav...

La Casa Cobian: August 2011
http://lacasacobian.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 26, 2011. Edgar's sister Elsa got married last week and we finally. Got some family pictures taken with our new edition- who is none too new. He's already one, big as can be, and loves photo shoots about as much as his old man. Poor Lili's. Unfortunately, that proved all too true. What did I have to lose? It took that oil right out, leaving no evidence of my dirty counter! I confidently posted the dress on ebay. I had the option of inviting my facebook. Doesn't that smile look good on him?

La Casa Cobian: Boise Temple Open House
http://lacasacobian.blogspot.com/2012/11/boise-temple-open-house.html
Sunday, November 11, 2012. Boise Temple Open House. We had a great trip this week to Boise and Meridian, Idaho where we stayed with my dear cousin Hannah and her darling family:. Have you ever seen such a cute family? Their new house is lovely, and they were so hospitable! Of him being President! When you consider that President Obama has been in office for half of Ruben's life, you can see where he's coming from. Here are some pictures of the kids together:. The perfect antidote for the post-election bl...

La Casa Cobian: April 2012
http://lacasacobian.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2012. Our Women's Conference Group: Hannah, Katie, Caroline, Me, Marianne, and Clarissa. Note that she and Marianne kindly let me hide behind them in the picture. As always, I came home from Women's Conference refreshed, determined to be better, and so excited to be home again with my Edgar and our children. The kids were all playing outside when I got home- even though it was almost bedtime. Yesterday Lili said, "Do you know why we were all outside last night when you came home? Yester...

La Casa Cobian: I Am Glad For Many Things, But a Little Sad Too
http://lacasacobian.blogspot.com/2012/11/i-am-glad-for-many-things-but-little.html
Sunday, November 25, 2012. I Am Glad For Many Things, But a Little Sad Too. I am glad for many things, but right now I'm sad for something too. The thing I'm sad about is that I am out of space for pictures on my blog and despite my best efforts (which are very lame when it comes to technology), I am unable to upload all the pictures I want to. I will try to forge ahead and show some (but not all that I'd like) of our Thanksgiving extravaganza. I am thankful the Johnsons joined us. They were just as ...

La Casa Cobian: March 2011

Thursday, March 24, 2011. Liliana's Birthday and Baptism. I don't know why this is underlined and different-colored. I know what you're thinking, dear reader: Why does Poor Olivia pretend to be a blogger? Well, it only gets worse. I am posting pictures of Liliana's eighth birthday. When I think of her tiny beginnings, I'm filled with gratitude for the progress she's made and that she's mine. She was dangerously small- 2 lbs., 1 oz. and 14 inches long. Now she's a big girl who knows how to read scriptures!

La Casa Cobian: Nevada Day & Halloween
http://lacasacobian.blogspot.com/2012/11/nevada-day-halloween.html
Sunday, November 4, 2012. Nevada Day and Halloween. Though Nevada Day once more fell on Halloween (it always has and always will), I did very little to commemorate it. I did try to croak out the Nevada state song with my children, but alas, my voice is gone and I don't know if it will ever return. It drives me crazy because I can't sing (and although my voice is not pretty, it. I love how Omar just kind of rolled into Carolina. Lili made her skirt by herself. She sews like me-. If it's not, it ought to be.

La Casa Cobian: May 2012

Sunday, May 27, 2012. Everybody's Growing Up Too Fast! When you're baby isn't even two weeks old yet, it's a little crazy to think he's growing up too fast, but he is. He's outgrown some clothes already and in my addled, emotional state, I want time to freeze. It's not just Omar who's growing up. Ammon has grown up a ton in the week since he got replaced as the baby. He's a cool kid now rather than a baby. This week Ruben was the BYU Police. His badge and cap are his uniform. Marcos loves singing "Hush L...
