Searching for small perfections in fashion. food. style. Monday, June 14, 2010. Sun colour = sunset. Today I am feeling cold. In need of some sun. I am also in desperate need of some inspiration. Colour-palette inspiration. The combination of these two things led me to think about sunsets, because sun colour = sunsets (that's how it went in my brain anyway! And so I went searching. And what I managed to find was a little bit of colour magic. Amazing colours. And that cloud formation. gorgeous!

Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Monday Meltdown to Wednesday all Worked out. My meeting with my design supervisor went really well today. My toiles are finally working out, I have a pair of fitted jeans and my vision for my collection for my collection is finally coming together. Denim (bleached and dyed). Prints of pleats, pleats and more pleats and patterns resulting from various dyeing techniques. Laser cut out borders. Sheer silk cotton over denim. Fitted ankle length jeans. Dresses, jumpsuits, aprons.

Just for something fun to do I used some of the felt I made in my surface form class for uni to make it. I entered it in the soft fabric category and ended up coming third :-).
