Annagrams: April 2014
http://annajeffyruby.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2014. The rest of April. Ellie and Ellie finished up their gymnastics class at Dimple Dell. We had Alta and Ellie over for dinner and movie night. I did pedicures at home with the girls. I did the full foot bath, foot and leg massage, and nail trim and paint. I see lots more home pedicures in our future. Ruby wanted to watch General Conference when the prophet was speaking. She listened to a few other talks, too. It hit 70 degrees and the girls begged me to turn on the sprinklers.

Friday, October 31, 2014. Ellie wearing Ruby's monster mask (October 2012). Ellie wearing the monster mask she made at preschool this month. Jeff invented a new game for the girls: FaceTime Hide-n-Seek! The girls used the iPad and Jeff used his phone and they took turns hiding and finding each other. Once Jeff was tricky and left his phone in the front window. Haha! Jeff bought a Red Haven peach tree to fill the spot of the hibiscus that died. But when we do it's gonna be sweet. Jeff and I sat and watche...

A Little Loughman: October 2014
http://alittleloughman.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Matt was supposed to go to Violet's Halloween party at school, and when I explained that neither of us would be making it now, she was understandably bummed. Poor thing. She already knows she draws the short end of the stick by being a teacher's kid. "But Daddy has regular work, so he can come! She said. So I juggled things at work and begged for a substitute for the last 20 minutes of the day so I could sneak out and surprise her at her party. I'm glad I did - her face lit up when she spotted me. We are...

A Little Loughman: February 2015

That Time it "Snowed". It accumulated. Sort of. One day, we'll look back of this period and say, "Remember the time we were out of school for six days because it snowed? And then we'll laugh and laugh. One day. I might be blaming the groundhog. Stupid groundhog and your predictions of early spring! I'm definitely blaming it on the rain (sing it with me now! Did everyone overreact a little bit? In hindsight, perhaps. But again, who can predict? At least it was pretty! Busting out the Easy Bake Oven! Q: Wh...

Annagrams: December 2014
http://annajeffyruby.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Thanksgiving Point offered free entrance to see the lights on the first two nights of December for members. The answer I was looking for. It took 45 minutes from the time we got in line until we got through. This year I was a little disappointed that they hadn't changed anything from previous years (except this new snowman group). She was whiny and needy and I really thought she had a tummy bug. It wasn't until that evening that she said her throat hurt. I looked in ...Ellie...

Welcome to Blog Country: Halloween, finally.
http://cwallen.blogspot.com/2014/12/halloween-finally.html
Welcome to Blog Country. The online home of Cory and Christina Allen. Thursday, December 04, 2014. Max requested Lightning McQueen (of course), and Lily dressed as Perry the Platypus. Pretty good resemblance, I think, considering their costume inspirations were both non-human cartoon characters! Posted by Christina Allen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Getting to know you. Welcome to Blog Country. The online home of Cory and Christina Allen. Friday, August 02, 2013. Sadly, it appears, nearly all of my photos of said festivities were blurry (darn perpetual-motion children! So you'll have to take my word for it, I guess. Max became especially attached to his cousin Mac from Colorado. Mac was extremely patient. Even when Lily joined the party. Things got a little out of hand from there. Mac wisely made a hasty retreat. Lily also caught her first fish! Posted by Christina Allen.

Welcome to Blog Country. The online home of Cory and Christina Allen. Friday, October 17, 2014. Meanwhile, in the present. And now that I've got the past year caught up, we're on to current events! The current month, anyway. That's something, right? I really had to talk up the virtues of Halloween, and get the Halloween decorations up that day, in order to avert tears over putting the birthday decorations away. Max had a great birthday. There were trucks. And cakes featuring cars. I'm sensing a theme here.
