Honey Bees and Hives. We now have multiple honey bee hives. My husband and o. Ur 14 year old son are in charge of the hives. They are having a lot of fun tending to them. We now have 7 dairy goats . Our girls have given us plenty of milk this last summer. We are breeding them and expect milk (and new babies) in late spring. Farm fresh eggs available now. Our ladies are not couped up.they love to roam and find fresh greens and grubs to eat. This is evident in the fresh taste and beautiful color of their eggs. We have Rhode Island Reds, Americanas, Barred Rocks and Black Australorp. This gives us variety in shell colors, from dark brown to blue or green. Our eggs sell for $2 a dozen.
