Sunday, October 9, 2011. We visited Callaway Gardens last weekend and had a wonderful time. We took our bikes and "cart" as Alex calls it and rode a good bit of the day with alot of stops for little hands to explore. We went to the butterfly center and it was a big hit with the exception of Alex wanting to blow/scare all of the butterflies that came close. On the hayride with mommie and daddy. Friday, March 4, 2011. Cat in the Hat! With Dr. Suess' birthday being this week, they made hats at school to celebrate. Alex was more than happy to wear it for me. Not making any promises. Although I got us caught up last time to October, I've decided to skip ahead and start with the here and now. Every once in a while I may try to go back and blog about something special. This was him floating on his back. We sang several songs and even put our heads under water. He didn't mind it at all. Cat in the Hat!

Most of this info is just so that I can remember this to tell Alan one day, so sorry if this post is boring to some of you (I know the grandparents will read all of it, ha ha). Our baby is now 16 months old and I absolutely cannot believe how fast he is growing. At his doctors visit he was 23 lbs. 15 oz. and 31 1/2 in. long. He is crawling all over the place. He has one tooth and is cutting at least one more (that we can see). He loves his ball, train, and car. The Lake - 2010.

Have to share this . This past week henry had his favorite foods luncheon at school . each child brings his/her favorite food and shares with everyone during a group lunch in the fellowship hall. I asked henry what he would like mommy to make/bring for the luncheon. He replied, "cupcakes.". I said, "sounds good. anything else? H: "sesame sticks.".
