We were grateful to have her, given that we had just met her a few days before I went into labor. We were able to call her while I was on my way to the hospital and she met us there within an hours time. Magali is supportive, understanding, and caring. Available in Spanish and English. One complimentary acquaintance interview (about 1 hour) good for the mother and partner. One prenatal visit (2-3 hours) in the client's home to help with the birth plan. Everyone planning to attend the birth is encouraged to be present. During this visit we also rehearse comfort measures and labor/birth positions. 24-7 telephone support during the pregnancy. Complete support during labor, birth and breastfeeding at the hospital or Birth Center. Cost: $700 to $1000.

Magali has been a birth doula (DONA trained) for the last six years. Located in Chevy Chase, MD, she started as a volunteer, on-call birth doula at the Family Health and Birth Center in Washington, DC, as well as a Prenatal Clinic advocate at Walt Whitman in DC between 2008 and 2010. Magali is also a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and has been practicing yoga since 2007. Ldquo; A doula for every woman that wants one.
