of dots & things: January 2013
http://ofdotsnthings.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Of dots and things. Thursday, January 24, 2013. It isn't intuitive to me to pair pastels with black - like seafoam green is effortlessly paired with black in Mango's January 2013 Lookbook. Even though Michelle Williams inspired me here. I still haven't been able to actually do it. Moreso, spring floral prints. I've paired them with stripes (inspired by this. But not with black. Not yet. Maybe I need these pieces the Prabal Gurung for Target Collection as my training wheels. Also love these shorts! Prabal...

of dots & things: May 2015
http://ofdotsnthings.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Of dots and things. Sunday, May 31, 2015. These days, when Noah reaches for something and I help him out by handing it to him, he says,. I used the Force again! When I jokingly glare at him for pulling one on me, he says in his Yoda-like voice,. Strong within me, the Force is.". And when I glare at him even more, he yells,. Dead, I am! Dead, I am! Photo is from here. For previous posts from the Noah says. Saturday, May 30, 2015. Color Obsession: all of them. Photos are all my own. Wednesday, May 27, 2015.

connect the dots: May 2015
http://ofdotsnbricks.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2015. I complained to Noah that all the LEGO creations he builds are for boys. So he sang, "Do you wanna build a snowman? While building me some Frozen minifigs. Kidding! He did make me girly Frozen minifigs! Though I had to help with Elsa's hair. She was bald for a while and it drove me nuts. So I twisted a white rubberband and latched it onto her hand to make Elsa's hair. I'll quit with the Frozen songs. I will now Let It Go. ;p. Noah's age when he created these: 9 years and 1 month.

connect the dots: FlashBRICK Friday
http://ofdotsnbricks.blogspot.com/2015/05/flashbrick-friday_22.html
Friday, May 22, 2015. 1 a mutant form. Freak (of nature), deviant, monstrosity, monster, mutation. Noah thought his first attempt at a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle was a mutant. So he paper-mache'd the head to make it less (or is it more? Of a mutant. Sadly, he thought the upgraded Ninja Turtle was still a monstrosity so he didn't make the other 3 turtles anymore. Noah's age when he created these: 9 years old. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to my third blog of dots! View my complete profile.

of dots & things: love you because...
http://ofdotsnthings.blogspot.com/2011/09/love-you-because.html
Of dots and things. Saturday, September 17, 2011. I saw this scrapbook idea on Ali Edwards' blog and went ahead and scrap-lifted it! Here are excerpts of my attempt. Makes me wish I knew how to take better photos and use Photoshop. But it does record the things I love about my Isabella at 12 so I am happy. Luckily, eyecandy. Printed my photobooks in time for Isabella's birthday last month so it was a precious addition to her many gifts this year. Which I absolutely adore! My own and a friend's. Turning j...

http://ofdotsnthings.blogspot.com/2015/06/mommy-mondays-day-before-their-birthday.html
Of dots and things. Monday, June 15, 2015. Mommy Mondays: The-Day-Before-Their-Birthday Photo. I loved this scrapbook idea of listing the things your child loves at every age. So I scrap-lifted it. I took a photo of Noah the day before his 9th birthday - his last day as an 8-year-old. Took a photo of him again the day before he turned 10. I wish I started this ritual years earlier. Would. Love to flip through a book of these Day-Before-His-Birthday pages to. Photos are my own and from Playtime Break.

of dots & things: Simple Trick: Calligraphy Hack
http://ofdotsnthings.blogspot.com/2015/07/simple-trick-calligraphy-hack.html
Of dots and things. Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Simple Trick: Calligraphy Hack. A lot of people are into calligraphy these days. The decorative handwriting is really pretty. But it takes practice to master the art of heavy and light strokes. Since I'm too lazy to practice and too impatient to wait for the perfection of a new craft, this hack I came across on Facebook is the next best thing! No need for a special pen. I used a regular Sharpie on this "calligraphy" of the word calligraphy. Or check out how my s...

Of dots and things. Monday, June 22, 2015. I was floored by these floors! I just looooove tiles! Which floored you more? I, of course, prefer the multi-colored ones. Photos are my own. Bright multi-colored floor is from Serenitea Megamall, gray-scale one is from Bizu Podium and the pastel tiled floor is from Aristocrat Roxas Boulevard. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). of dots & things: October 2012
http://ofdotsnthings.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Of dots and things. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. I've always been drawn to the sight of pumpkins. I think it's the huge pop of orange brightening up the supposedly scary holiday. So it's no wonder these pumpkins made me smile - with colorful cartoony faces painted on the fun, orange gourd! Though it turns out, painting over the orange still draws me in. Okay, I guess it isn't surprising that I would be captivated by these colorful, patterned pumpkins. Don't you love their fun, Mexican pinata vibe? Santa an...
