The heart of Los Angeles.in a doggy bag. Tuesday, April 10, 2007. No major developments this week, but you can definitely expect some serious breakthroughs in the very near future. The heart of Los Angeles.in a doggy bag. Thursday, April 19, 2007. Today I was lucky enough to chat with Valerie Conway, a member of the Kor Group. Residential Sales Team for the Eastern Columbia Lofts. Thanks for being here, Valerie! For starters, tell me a little about the history of the building. Well, it was built in 1930 as a department store and stayed that way until the 1960's when it was turned into office space. Kor bought the building in 2004 when it was vacant and had been for years. The build...

Down with Downtown: MAKING IT PERSONAL
http://downwithdowntown.blogspot.com/2007/04/making-it-personal.html
The heart of Los Angeles.in a doggy bag. Monday, April 16, 2007. Following the lead of the Cartifact map, I created a map of downtown L.A. Residential, nightlife, food, and other hotspots that I've been tracking for a while. The information on the map comes from a culmination of visits to the downtown area (mainly on weekends) over the past three weeks as well as my own research with publications like the Los Angeles Times. The Los Angeles Downtown News. And Los Angeles Magazine. Map of Downtown Hotspots.

Friday, March 23, 2007. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Well, for my spring break one thing that happened in Vegas was a little gambling and what stayed there was my money. By several repeated acts of God I managed to lose very little money on any of these hands and sometimes actually make. Tuesday, March 06, 2007. Thanks a lot and enjoy your Spring Break! Sunday, February 18, 2007. PROS VS. JOES. I'm not going to deny the fact that, as a broadcast journalism major, I might be slightly biased when it comes to comparing a professional news broadcast to any video you might find on the internet. But that isn't to say that I don't have an appreciation for the kind of video work people like you and I are able to produce from the comfort of their own homes. The other day I stumbled across an intriguing short documentary piece. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Quality Control: January 2007
http://kylecabodi.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 27, 2007. This past Friday afternoon I decided head to the east side of downtown and spend some time in good ol' Union Station. It's not just the hub of L.A.'s bus and rail lines but also a fantastically preserved shrine to America's. Golden Age of Travel. There's no mistaking this when you're actually inside the station. The only thing reminding me that I hadn't been suddenly warped back to the 1930s in an episode of The Twilight Zone. Where are they going? Or even "why take the train?

Sunday, April 01, 2007. I've always been the type that has a really hard time picturing what things will be like in the future. It always seems so far away with so many things to take into consideration.how can I possibly guess what things will be like? Well, luckily my saving grace is that I'm pretty good about setting goals for myself and doing all that I can to achieve them. I don't expect every one of them to come true, but the least I can do is try. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The real deal holyfield. Thursday, August 30, 2007. And with double the kids! Hey everyone (or no one? Knock, knock), yep I’m still here. We had another baby girl! She is almost two months old. And as for her big sister, she is doing great. She just started crawling (hands and knees, the real deal! A couple weeks ago, and now she is starting to pull herself up on stuff and just in general is blessedly and sometimes frighteningly mobile! Good, good times. Anyway, that is the 90 second (er, 500 second?
