The Andrews Family: Christmas traditions and what we do about Santa
http://thoseandrews.blogspot.com/2011/12/christmas-traditions-and-what-we-do.html
Jackson * Mallory * Parks * Reese. Friday, December 2, 2011. Christmas traditions and what we do about Santa. That is easier said than done these days. Almost everything about Christmas as presented in our culture emphasizes gifts, commercialism, consumerism and Santa. Almost nothing presents Christmas as the birth of our Savior. I asked Parks out of the blue a few weeks ago "Why do we celebrate Christmas? His answer shocked me and humbled me, "Santa Claus! We do have nativity sets, a Christmas tree, sto...

The Andrews Family: a miracle and mothering redemption
http://thoseandrews.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-miracle-and-mothering-redemption.html
Jackson * Mallory * Parks * Reese. Friday, January 11, 2013. A miracle and mothering redemption. Clearly I've lost my blogging fire. I'm not sure what the future of this blog holds, or maybe its fate is already sealed. But I have something on my heart and perhaps a means of bringing some closure to my little blog. I started this blog six years ago, as a 21 year old newly married young woman. No children yet but full of ideas, dreams, plans and plenty of opinions! God is so faithful and good. He has s...

A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster: March 2014
http://guygirldog.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster. Sunday, March 30, 2014. Kellen at 3 months. However i also don't mind a day or two when he's awake for most of her nap- poor guy hardly gets any mommy-to-himself time so I'm happy to oblige. It's amazing how big he has gotten. This week I've switched out all his 3month sleepers and onesies for 6mo ones. A few things still fit but probably not for long. I'm enjoying buying lots of nautical boy clothes especially for warmer weather :). Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He li...

A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster: January 2015
http://guygirldog.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. So, wow, I last posted in April? I'll forewarn you that this post won't even try to make up for all the missed time. In fact it will probably be pretty short. Its nap time for the kids and those few hours of quiet and solitude {and laundry folding} are sacred time :). What better way to catch you up than with photos? Well thats my "quick update". The laundry calls. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). How it All Began. Other Guys and Girls.

A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster: Little man at 4 months
http://guygirldog.blogspot.com/2014/04/little-man-at-4-months.html
A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Little man at 4 months. Lots of smiles and some giggles if you try really really hard. Likes looking at the cute guy in the mirror. Purposefully grabbing and hitting at toys. He enjoys when I sing to him or when we all dance around. He's also started babbling so much- I think he is trying to sing along. For the majority of the past 8or so nights, Kellen has slept all.night. Like 11-6 at least. His parents are loving it. How it All Began.

A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster: January 2014
http://guygirldog.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster. Wednesday, January 22, 2014. On December 30th we welcomed Kellen George into our little family via planned repeat C-section. His name is a tribute to our fathers- Kellen from combining my dad's name (Keith Allen) and George which is Geoff's middle name and his dad's first name. Kellen is an easy going little guy. He doesn't cry much- he whines to let me know he's hungry and otherwise grunting is his main form of communication. Typical boy? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster: June 2013
http://guygirldog.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
A Guy and a Girl and a Roller Coaster. Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Well I guess that title pretty much sums up our news :) We're thrilled to be welcoming a second baby into the family, and maybe just a little bit scared. Mostly thrilled :) How much harder can 2 be than 1, right? Since I ended up with a C-section with Zoe, we're still deciding whether to schedule a C-section at 39 weeks or try for a VBAC. So baby could be here before New Years. Thankfully I have a lot less food aversions this time and am most...

America, the liberal nation??? | West4liberty's Weblog
https://west4liberty.wordpress.com/2008/11/05/america-the-liberal-nation
Just another WordPress.com weblog. America, the liberal nation? Up until now, it was traditionally thought that America was a right of center nation. After an election like this, one has to wonder if this axiom still rings true. While the conventional wisdom of this election result may be to say that America has changed, the political facts might suggest a different story. 8212; George Mason.
