As far as my hip goes, things have been really great and there hasn’t been much change. I’m still feeling great and doing really well. I’m writing today because I’ve been going through some rather heavy family stuff, and I’m dealing with a situation that may affect my hip. It’s an amazing. It’s been two weeks since the MRI and while I know that Dr. S’s office is very busy…a girl needs some guidance and reassurance here and there! I had my MRI on the morning of Friday, April 25. 8220;You can stop worrying about one thing, but here’s another! You and your doctor obviously know that something is wrong.but you have no physica...

My journey with developmental dysplasia/Bilateral Hip Dysplasia. Welcome to my blog. This is the first time, I have ever created one. I never kept a journal or did anything like this before. I don’t count facebook in this category. 😛 I created this for both you and I. I want to keep track of my progress, give the viewer a better idea of the surgery I have had, and recovery period after that surgery. My first PAO on my right hip, was done on Dec. 18th 2012 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery: PAO Essentials List
http://ahipadventure.blogspot.com/2013/04/pao-essentials-list.html
Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery. Friday, April 5, 2013. I saw this on another hip blog and thought it was an ingenious idea. It’d probably be good to give you some ideas on things I used to make my life easier post-surgery. These are really in no particular order. If I remember random things over time, I'll continue to add to this post. I had the handle on the inside of the tub, and that helped me immensely. These are adjustable. Plastic trash bag for your chair. 8211; I took an extra...

http://ahipadventure.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery. Sunday, March 16, 2014. Updating on the painful hip issues. I know it could be any number of things. I could just be that I really need to get back to the gym and work and stretch these bad boys out. It could be that these are the kinds of things I should expect from a PAO-ed hip. It could be that there really is something going on. Who knows, we will hopefully start figuring it out over the next few weeks. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). New Plan of Attack.

Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery. Thursday, January 30, 2014. It’s been a while so I thought I’d check in and give you some updates and lay down some thoughts I’ve had lately. What’s the latest and greatest in the life of hip-y Danielle? Well, for the past three and a half months, we’ve been building a house! It has been so much fun, and extremely exciting! My main point here is, if we had tried to go through this process two years ago? Of things for the house (Dramatic? Besides all of...
