Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man. Saturday, June 22, 2013. 8220;In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.” (Ps. 5:3). Lord, thank you for hearing my request this morning. I love you, Lord. I know that you not only hear my requests, but I can expect you to respond to my requests. May I have ears to hear your quiet voice as you grant me the requests or give me insights into the requests. I praise you, my Lord. Posted by Jerry Thompson.

Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man. Monday, February 25, 2013. Out of the Mouth. James 3:10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. Ps 141:3 Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. Ps 109:30 With my mouth I will greatly extol the Lord; in the great throng I will praise him. Ps 37:30 The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks what is just. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; his feet do not slip. NIV. Burne...

Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man: April 30 – Married 50 Years
http://wanderingthoughtsfromanoleman.blogspot.com/2014/04/april-30-married-50-years_8192.html
Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man. Monday, April 21, 2014. April 30 – Married 50 Years. Several years ago I was attending a weekly men’s meeting in a local restaurant. As usual the room was packed with men, many of whom were at a tough place in life. The men were seated at tables for 4. While we were eating a question was asked “How long have you been married? The comment was hilarious. His honesty was refreshing. When we were married in front of the stained glass window at her church, we made a marriag...

Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man: Persecution Of: Paula Deen and All of the Older FolKs

Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man. Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Persecution Of: Paula Deen and All of the Older FolKs. I have to make a statement. I have been offended by the actions of the news media, the people who willfully guided the many companies that have pulled their support for Paula Deen. I wonder if the news personal and corporate people would have passed the Paula Deen test. The truth is not necessarily what some newscasters are concerned about. Ratings are what they are about. I have had the wo...

Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man. Saturday, September 14, 2013. Definition from Merrion Webster Online. Not having or showing concern or respect for the rights and feelings of other people : not polite. When you look up this word, you will find so many definitions of the word. The word reminds me of an adjustable wrench. The word rude can be used to refer to so many things. Sometimes the definition of words over time, may tend to change. Or it could be that I have been unaware of the various definitions.

Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man: Aging 16 Years in 15 minutes
http://wanderingthoughtsfromanoleman.blogspot.com/2013/08/aging-16-years-in-15-minutes.html
Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man. Thursday, August 8, 2013. Aging 16 Years in 15 minutes. When I was young, a person 30 years old was passed beginning to age and a 50 year old was approaching death. Now that I am 70, a person who is 85 years old is not too old. When I look in the mirror, I only look at parts of me at one time. When I comb my hair, I look at my hair. When I shave, I look at my cheeks. I step away from the mirror saying “still good looking and I feel good”. Sunday was a day of challenge!

Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man: November 2012
http://wanderingthoughtsfromanoleman.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Wandering Thoughts From An Ole Man. Thursday, November 29, 2012. Love Note from God. Last night a good friend of mine and I were driving to a local Chinese Restaurant to have dinner with 6 other brothers in Christ. Up in the sky was the most beautiful full moon. The skies were clear- no cloud in sight- only a big beautiful full moon. After dinner when I drive to my house- which is out in the country- usually it is so dark- the only thing glowing are the head lights. Thank you, Lord! This morning I lather...
