Both the conventional and organic varieties are sold under the same supermarket brand name, so there is not much to chose between the brand as such (hey, its only vegetables after all! Among others, researchers reviewed papers published on this topic over the last 50 years before arriving at this conclusion.

Journey from a Olympus C-760 to a Nikon D5100. Tuesday, January 29, 2008. That is all I remember from this Diwali. The kids were waiting for us, there were a lot of new faces this time, as the strength has increased there, so after a round of intro - we set on fireworks, lit the place with candels, and what next? Lot of fun, crackers, rockets, sweets, Bombs, flowerpots, sparklers, the children had major fun , also we ensured everyone gets involved in this festival . But still that rusted gate Haunts me.

Garam Masala: April 2005
http://avinashsrao.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 02, 2005. In the last month I was reading about Marxism, Lenninsm and Stalinism. Was kind of impressed by the basic thoery of Communism. It says that no one can possess land. Land will always be a property of the government. Who cultivates on the land reaps its benifits. Ya, it was an interesting read. But I could not follow it. Actually what the heck! The point is, I am not able to digest the fact that I own the land and now possess the papers of its. It all seems unreal.

Thursday, March 17, 2005. Everytime you ask direction to a malayali he would say - ' nera poyi, leppta'. It would always be a left there. why? Because in kerala left is right :-). Then there is the boiler tea. Nair chaya, it is called. Simbly suberb. You would find a toddy shop in every 100 mts. Horny, drunk and people with a civic sense, they are the mallus. Of course, there are the backwaters in kerala. Everyone talks about ‘em. They are too good. You know it. Everyone knows it. Posted by Avi at 5:31 AM.

Saturday, January 29, 2005. And then people around me told me that there is a separate family section in most pubs. Family section! Pub is just a fancier, more expensive version of a bar. They still serve alcohol. People do get drunk here. And this has a family section! So there arises no question of acceptance or defiance. I know a 6th std kid who surfs porn. Thursday, December 29, 2005. Sambhandha - The pleasent bonding. I got my first push into the bride searching during this weekend. It was my cousin’s marriage, the first marriage that I attended from the beginning till the end. And there were lot rituals that I had no idea about. I don’t have an opinion about the significance of the rituals, but it’s all a lot of fun. 1 Sodu Munji/Kashi Yatra. 3 The bride’s uncle (mama) has to carry the bride to the bride’s chair ( hase mane. 5 When the bride enters the n...

Chilli Flakes: Collective Venting
http://sridhar190.blogspot.com/2011/06/collective-venting.html
Thursday, June 16, 2011. Yet another ping-from-oblivion attempt to resuscitate this blog. I have the urge to vent out my ire/frustration/desperation/anger on a lot of things. So, I will try to do it in the subsequent paragraphs in as methodical a way as the venting allows. Roads, more roads, wide roads, jams, roads, more roads, wide roads . People's homes, shops, means of livelihood (for street vendors). Entire building of a school. The arguments thrown against us before/during/after the protest:. I abso...

Thursday, October 21, 2004. Just like how the Scarlet Pimpernel eluded the French, so had a trip been eluding our Gang. In our defense, most of us live in different parts of the world.and those who aren’t can never come to a consensus on the place, date, etc of the trip. Well, that would be the short version. But what I can talk about in this blog are the following, in no particular order of importance or priority, just time:.
