The Unexamined Life Is Not Worth Living. - Socrates. It has been a very cold winter here in Utah. I usually don't complain about winters being cold in UT because I grew up in Iowa, where the wind chill in the winter would be - degrees most of the time. That being said, it has been so cold! I went sledding with Joseph and his nieces and nephews on Saturday. It was really fun! Well, this was just a little update. Pretty boring, but hey I'll take boring any day. Thursday, January 31, 2013. Kurt's been working at the VA lately. On one of his days off, we went to the duck pond next to it and fed the ducks and geese. The day after Christmas we had gingerbread day. And the girls had some fun with Naomi's new LeapPad. Friday, January 25, 2013. For Christmas this year, the girls got some pretty awesome presents. They started off the day with presents from Santa- a Leappad 2 for Naomi, and a Leapster Explorer for Emma. The girls have been having fun with them ever since.

Saturday, December 17, 2011. This morning we went to the Elks Lodge to have breakfast and meet Santa. I was loving the decor. :). In addition to the presents, Santa also gave out candy canes. That was Emma's favorite part. She ate the whole thing. She wasn't too crazy about Santa himself. Thursday, April 26, 2012. In searching for a home to rent in Loma Linda, we found a great condo that was somehow, surprisingly, in our price range.
