Alternate Gridwork Lecture with Heather Grant. Wednesday, September 10 at 7 pm. Alternate gridwork is a modern quilting design element that is the basis for many modern quilts. We’ll explore different types of gridwork, drawing inspiration from graphic, web and print design.We’ll also cover basic grid system theory and review its relationship to proportion and ratio. You’ll be inspired with the understanding and ideas to start your own alternate grid design in your next quilt. Two-hour slots are available.

Carolyn Friedlander is coming to town this Thursday 8/7 for a Lecture and Trunk Show and spending the weekend with us for two workshops!
