Wedding Dress No. 3. Church wedding = covered shoulders, open back (we're not in 50's any more - - women's lib! Show that back), and train. It's my first church dress. The train bustles like so. You gotta dance, you gotta. I really need to get better at taking pictures of my dresses. But this is the front. Silk houndstooth / silk charmeuse skirt reworked into a frothy, yet structured, confection. I've been kind of obsessing over birds of prey as of late. Reworking images in Illustrator to create layers of colors and lines - recreating the original image to create something sparse paired with a dash of darkness. Perhaps these guys will turn into post cards or ink drawings or a screen print or embroidered wall hanging. I am obsessed with this guy's photos after my trip to MOMA today with Nolan and Jayme.

Things that ruin your night. Being on a train that kills someone. Seriously, guys, it happened last night. Apparently January 21, 2012 was a deadly day for people on the platform.
