He founded the oncology department in Michalovce and was the first chairman. To honor his legacy I arranged to place a granite wall memorial in the vestibule of the oncology department in Michalovce hospital. In addition, to keep his work alive I made an oncology fund to help modernize the radiation therapy unit at the outpatient cancer center.
