The Isle of Mull lies just off the west coast of Scotland. The second largest island in the Inner Hebrides, it is relatively accessible and boasts a dramatic and varied landscape. As the eagle flies, the island is around 30 miles from north to south, but with the many sea lochs and inlets, there are over 300 miles of coastline. The mountains in the central part of the island rise over 3000 feet but give way in the north and south west to rolling hills, rocky coast and sandy beaches.

Our self-catering accommodation occupies the first floor of one wing of the building, with its own front door to the car park. The accommodation (see layout. Below) includes one king-size double bedroom and a second bedroom with full-size bunk beds. The bathroom has bath with shower over. The living/dining room is open plan to a small but well fitted kitchen (cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge). There is also a small freezer. There are six bedrooms available for Bed and Breakfast at Druimnacroish, all ensuite and with views across the glen. They are simply but comfortably furnished, with hair dryers, alarm clocks and individually controlled heating in each room. Druimnacroish is a large stone building, set in three acres of gardens, on the flanks of Glen Bellart in the north west of the Isle of Mull. We are almost two miles from Dervaig on the road to Salen and around ten miles from Tobermory. Off the beaten track, yet within reach of all parts of the island, the glen is peaceful, and the views and sunsets are superb. The rural setting provides a tranquil and restful atmosphere. You can use Bing Maps to pop up an aerial view of the surrounding countryside.
