The Great Balancing Act. Over the years I have spoken publicly about mental health, including my own, at a number of events, some of which you can find on this page. Kat vs Jeremy Paxman talking about Self Harm. Talking at the launch of the WellHappy app at City Hall in London. The Chrissy B Show. Talking to Chrissy B about why having a mental health problem doesn’t make me “crazy”. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Now, anyone who knows their onions (and by that I mean anyone who knows about dementia) will tell you that issues with swallowing are common in advanced disease but I was always anticipating that we would get to the pureed food stage at about the same time as the wheelchair stage (and what a great stage that will be to look forward to! Dad is home but cannot lift mum. Paramedics have to be called to assist. This would in no way constitute a medical emergency and could therefore result in a long stay on the floor. Mum is at home alone and sits tight on the floor for an unspecified period. Notify me of ...
