Worked through Christmas and New Year and then had 10 days off from the 13th Jan. We went to Pt Lonsdale and had a really relaxing holiday. Did heaps, spent heaps and even managed to have a couple of runs along the beach🙂. My training regime that I have set out for next 12 weeks starts. First entry for 2011. Living in the now. I have set myself a training program with the help of Smartcoach from Runners World (USA) with the goal run being the Sussan Women’s Fun Run 10km. Which is in December. So I have been plodding along just doing 3km runs with a km of walking. This Sunday I am set to increase to 5km, lol! It occurred to me the other day that I was long overdue for some new runners and I trotted down to. First entry for 2011.

I did a 4.5km run on Friday and it was total crap! I struggled bad. It is really weird how runs can be so different. I am doing a six day stretch of afternoon shift at the moment and I am on day 4. I usually get home before 10pm and I am usually starving by then and this is my danger zone. I need to find a suitable low poi...I kno...

Now I am thinking Spring into Shape, just have to check the dates that they are on and see if I am not working. Started myself on Weight Watchers again and have lost 1kg, very happy with that and will perservere. Had a few blow outs over the week but overall I think I did quite well and it has shown on the scales😀. Enter your comment here.

All went nice and smoothly and I was able to look around at all the stalls leisurely. Sara you are so right about the benefits of shift work, everytime I head out for a run or a ride in the middle of the day i appreciate shift work. I am actually pretty lucky because at the moment I have set shifts. Hopefully when I’m not so tired I’ll feel more positive about it. So my goal is to now set goals . Life just rolling along.
