I haven't updated in a long time. Two reasons. First, I was in the hospital. Second, getting over the most horrifying experience of my life. And then asking me. She says I replied, "Yes, I want to be intubated- I can't breathe." She tells me they knocked me out right then and there. Sometimes I think I can remember the sound of the helicopter blades. More Sickness News, and Stem Cells. I think I've had about two hospitalizations since the last post. The first from Oct 24-26th and the second most recent from Nov 6-18th. You might think I just love the hospital! Anyhow, the last Oct visit cultured Pseudomonas, another opportunistic infection common in compromised patients such as myself. I've had it a couple times, and my uncle, sick with CF, lost his life to it. So I had a course of oral Cipro. I got better. Well, in good news, I fixed my laptop!

Monday, Mom and I visited the Bee Lady. Even though BVT (bee venom therapy) didn't help me, it was neat to learn about it and MS. I am still very sick. I think many people do not realize the extent of my illness, or even exactly what it is or means. I have Wegener's Granulomatosis. It is an autoimmune disorder, meaning the immune system is responsible for attacking my body. Johns Hopkins Hospital Library. Shh, it's a library! Now you can have sex with very old men! The ER, as usual, made us wait as they do everybody. And I'm going in there saying, "I have breathing problems." I just feel so sorry for people who've hurt their leg! Well my mom left at 12:30 AM while I was in the ER.
