Border Collies caught in the act. Of being the best dogs in the world. Project: Foster Dog Harp. November 14th, 2011. I would like you to meet Harp. But dont walk toward him or talk above a whisper at him or really even look at him. You are scary to him and he is terrified of what you *could* do to him. He only knows humans as frightening things that are mostly unknown to him. Except for the abuse and neglect he existed through for 3 years. And physically he was a mess as well. Sunday, January 18, 2009. This is a rare sighting these last few weeks - Rev in the snow. Sigh - not for long though. Hard to believe this dog was born in Canada and has littermates that pull dog sleds! Instead, I get this - pathetic! 160;Looks like he's about to be beaten. Yeah fine - go on back in. I have other heartier dogs I can photograph. Like how about some good old fashioned snow soccer! 160;What happened to my face? Yeah that's better - how about throwing this thing? Oh they're getting away!

Tuesday, March 3, 2009. Sunny day after the storm. After yet another snowstorm, Psyche and I went snowshoeing. Well, only I wore the snow shoes. He doesn't need them to take off and hunt birds and squirrels. Not sure what he did see up there but he was intrigued. It was nice to have the sun back, even if it is a bit cold for March. I never get tired of taking his picture. And he never gets tired of running with great joy. The end. Hope to be back with spring next time. April 20, 2009 at 1:16 PM.
