David Brailsford Biography

David Brailsford was born in Nottingham England in 1930. He was educated at the High Pavement Grammar School. He qualified as a Psychiatric nurse in 1955 and progressed through his profession to become a Senior Nursing Officer. David developed an in-house Staff Training Department and worked with clients as a Registered Drama Therapist. He is now retired and spends much of his time writing tales of folk lore and fantasy. David with Spoogy in Spoogy's. 2003 - 2004 David Brailsford.

This wonderful book of folklore brings together stories of duppies and other supernatural happenings from Porus, Manchester and other parts of Jamaica. The range of stories include tales from Porus, Redberry and Old Harbour in St Catherine and recalls the aftermath of the Kendall train crash (Jamaica's worst rail disaster).
