The Ballard Bunch: June 2012
http://jcballardbunch.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 17, 2012. Yes, for lack of a more creative side to me right now, this post is simply.September. You see, I thought to myself that I needed to get caught up on my blogging. Because it has been an awfully long time. And I thought to myself that maybe I should really just skip over anything that has gone on since I last wrote and start fresh. So I am doing it. But it might not be pretty. If you must know. I've gotten kind of bad about taking very many pictures anymore. Who am I, anymore? I felt...

Tuesday, October 11, 2011. A Trip for Me. My blogging muscles are out of shape. They need to be stretched and massaged a little. It works out well that this is the next post up for posting. Because it speaks for itself. That might have had something to do with the fact that, upon my arrival, my sister, Monica-the-artist, and bro-in-law, Austin-the-landscape-designer (Is that the right title? Would you like to see what we saw? Of course you would. Go ahead, take a scroll through. You see what I did there?

Tuesday, October 9, 2012. October of last year was . . . well . . . But, better late than never. Plugging ahead, perhaps I will be up to date by next year! And in the attitude of plugging ahead . . . Just a lot of pictures of the goings on of our October, 2011. I love October and I am excited to revisit last fall to get excited for this fall because it really is FINALLY starting to cool off! Let's see what kinds of things we might have in store . . . I have yet to have successful cucumber plants! I love ...

Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Our Oven Timer (guest author). The old western dinner bell holds no coal to our oven timer. Our boys are more attuned to the simple beeping sound than most musicians are their instrument. Pavlov would be excited to see reaction of the boys at even a single beep as I get to the oven a second late. "Dinner? I just put water on to boil guys," I let them know again. No, I just turned on the oven.". I love my boys. Friday, November 21, 2008. Guess I'm a fangirl. My parents had an...

Wednesday, November 2, 2011. 30 Days of Thankfulness - Day 2. I am thankful for a husband who knows how to and enjoys cooking. He puts together the yummiest dinners and desserts from random things in the kitchen. It was SO good tonight. He keeps us well fed. Tonight was a taco pasta salad type thing. I'm really hoping the boys finish it off because it's REALLY yummy and I'd probably eat the whole thing if it's left in my refrigerator. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. 30 Days of Thankfulness - Day 1.

I'll post later with pics and possibly even video. Right now, I just want to share my appreciation for a wonderful afternoon/evening. I haven't felt this content in a very long time. MERRY CHRISTMAS! Thursday, September 29, 2011. Cell Snapshots: Helping Brothers. So, as it turns out, in the archives of Cell Phone Photo Land, I have documented a few instances of my boys being adorably helpful. Last year, like every year, our neighbor's pine tree rained pine needles on our backyard. You would think the three-inch-thick blanket of pine needles would be obnoxious, but I'm just so darn excited we have a gorgeous pine tree waving above us, smelling all good, I don't mind at all. Ben rushed right into action.

Sunday, July 31, 2011. A Latesummer Weekend's Fun. Does that title sound anything like 'A Midsummer Night's Dream? I don't know, sometimes I don't quite hit the mark. Anyway, we got a very awesome invitation this last week. JC's sister was heading to a local resort for a night's stay with her family. The family friend they had planned to go with had to back out last minute. They kindly invited us and we were so excited. Here you see.we were ready to go! Cute girl and her cat. Here, Colton makes Ben laugh.

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Let it Grow, Let it Grow, Let it Grow! In the midst of all my consta-blogging lately (well, my version of consta-blogging anyway), I figured it was about time to stop and smell the roses. Orthe pomegranate, cucumber, and tomato blossoms plus marigolds, oleander (nasty smell if you ask me), and.and.lettuce? Okay, well, I ran out of things that smell in my backyard. But, what I'm trying to say is, it's time to dedicate an entire post to what we've got growin' on around here.
