This week was the Murray High Junior Cheer Camp. They high school cheerleaders work with the different age groups of kids (mostly girls) on Wednesday and Thursday after school. Then, the kids get to cheer at the boys basketball game on Friday night and do a dance at halftime. Go Spartans! Wednesday was a little rough. She laughed -She cried. She had fun - She was scared. She participated - She ran back to me crying. It was a typical Molly experience. On Thursday, though, she was great! We saw them with t...

Bing Blog: Happy Birthday Molly!
http://blogsarespecial.blogspot.com/2015/05/happy-birthday-molly.html
Happy #5 Birthday to my #1 Daughter! We celebrated her actual birthday by going to Chick Fil A and taking Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies to school, but that's about it. We played silly party games and whacked a pinata. We opened presents and ate cake and ice cream. Molly picked a "fish and shark" theme and then a My Little Pony cake (great combination, I know). It was a fun time! Kindergarten, here we come! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Meet my cousin and his wife! Woods in the Hood.

Help on the Spot. I'm not sure what I would do without my parental units. My mom has had my kids every Saturday morning for the last 6 weeks while I run Stake YW Basketball. She picks them up from my house and often they go get pancakes at McDonalds and take them to eat at my Grandpa's. Sunday night I left them at my mom's while I went to a region church basketball meeting and James and Ross went over to the rental to try to evict our tenants. Mission: 1 Year Accomplished. We spent Valentines Eve putting...

Bing Blog: Book Review
http://blogsarespecial.blogspot.com/2015/04/book-review.html
So I continue to read in the realm of juvenile fiction. Since reading "The Fault In Our Stars" last summer, I seem to have used the majority of my reading time in this genre? It's light, quick, and easy to read. The stories I've picked out grab my attention and interest. They really are well-written, quirky, and witty. I just haven't found a good non-fiction book recently that has allowed me to get past the first chapter. I'll keep looking. It's probably time for some higher intellect. April 21, 2015 at ...

Made it Past the 7 Year Itch. The Seven Year Itch" is actually not a movie I've seen, but as James and I now embark on our 8th anniversary, I thought it was a creative title. Honestly, I don't know if I've ever seen a Marilyn Monroe movie at all. Hmmm. Maybe I need to expand my movie repertoire. Thanks for being there for the last 8 years and here's to the next many more. I'm tired . . . but we've got it as much as anybody every has . . . . Thanks for the gift of the post. Love you much also! Made it Pas...

Bing Blog: T-ball
http://blogsarespecial.blogspot.com/2015/05/t-ball.html
Kearns Oquirrh Park T-ball 2015 is finished! It was just over a month long, 8 games, and two rain outs. We had a solid 7 kids on our team and they were all pretty happy to be there and excited to come each game. We were the red team. We, of course, won every game (as did our opponents), because that is how T-ball works. Here are some pictures of our season! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Meet my cousin and his wife! March is almost over and I've hardly recorded anything about it. Here is the month in pictures. Most of the month was spent stressing over our rental house, so these other events are really all a blur. I finally finished young women's basketball. We had to host the region tournament one night at our building and that was stressful only because the region people were cramping my style, but now I'll know what to expect for next time. A Great Day To Be A Ute! I love University of Utah Basketball! This seaso...

On Martin Luther King Day we decided to celebrate by taking the kids bowling. We considered ice skating, but then I though, "who are we kidding? Bowling was much more likely to actually be fun. It was! We'd played 2 games. The balls rolled slowly. James and I had higher scores than normal thanks to the bumpers in the gutters (though we don't know what normal is since we don't remember the last time we went bowling). We ate greasy french fries and gooey cheese bread. It was a fun afternoon! Picture Window...

What's the first news of the new year? Jack does his business in the toilet! I was a little worried. I had nothing to worry about, though. He was accident free and on Tuesday, Miss Sarah gave him an ultimatum that he couldn't go out and play until he went #2 and he did it! He only had one "accident" all week at school and it wasn't an accident, but rather a "missed and peed all over my pants" thing. I think that is pretty great for his first week at school! I'm so proud of him! He is such a good boy!
