In the winter if freezes but water continues to move under the ice, pushing the ice up on top of itself and causing ice dams in the river (and eventually flooding upriver). Where do you live? You are somebody's child. I grew up in the country and something I did NOT miss was introducing myself and having the question come back as "And whose son are you now? You're going "Up River". Pretty much anything East is "Out Back"*.

Tuesday, April 9, 2013. No Scooting in the Sanctuary". Like, the nerdy thing that people who couldn't ride skateboards used to ride around on. The things that were silver with a handle. They are no longer just silver with a handle. Two of the youth showed up on Wednesday with scooters, they were 'tricked out' with the latest deck, the cool design, wheels, everything was custom. One of them even had pegs on the wheels! That means they are doing tricks. This would have been unheard of 5 years ago.

Last conversations to take place. In 31 days I will begin World Race training camp in Georgia. Visting my lovely Macon friends. Enjoying the deep south. Eatin' some chick fil'a. In 2 months my friends Amy and DJ are getting married. In less than 3 months I will be in Haiti starting the WORLD RACE. I am so excited for you!
