Café de Tantes (meaning ‘the Aunties Café’) opened in September 2006. With a professional coffee machine donated by the Dutch Consulate, a group of six enthusiastic volunteers opened the doors. We now have ten volunteers! Each Wednesday, residents from Independent Units, Hostel, High and Special Care Units come to enjoy the Tantes coffee, cakes and lunches. Wednesdays have also become a day to look forward to for both the staff of Prins Willem Alexander Village and the residents’ friends and families.

Veteran’s Home Care is funded by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) and provides support for veterans who live in their own home. This support can include assistance with cleaning, shopping, personal services and basic home maintenance. The amount of care and the type of care/support provided is determined by the VHC Assessment Agency. COMMUNITY AGED CARE PACKAGES.
