Bali Honeymoon Day 10 – Pemuteran. We woke up rather early and took a nice stroll along the beach. We saw many locals setting up for the day, such as fisherman and one beach front retailer selling handmade seashell jewelry. The beach had patches of trash, and then beaches maintained by each resort that were more actively maintained. Bali Honeymoon Day 4 – Ubud. We met Suamba at 8:30 at his Bali Green Shop. For the Bali Green Walk. He led us to the taxi driver, Wayan, who happened to be the same man who we bought a painting from in the rice fields days before! We stopped in the rice fields where the workers were harvesting the rice. We even tried swatting the bundles ourselves to dislodge the rice from the plant. Before this trip, neither of us actually knew where in the plant rice came from. It just grows on the ends! We walked back...

Bali Honeymoon Day 8 – Pemuteran. We ate breakfast and packed up for our drive from Munduk to Pemuteran. We rode in a 12 seater van the size of an old school VW van. The drive was 1.5 hours long, and the road was lined with small villages the whole way. We arrived at Amertha Villas. Around 11. We reserved a beachfront suite, which shares a pool with another suite, but since no one else booked the other suite, we had the pool all to ourselves! The sound of the ocean waves from our villa was enticing!

The irony is that we were just telling the German snorklers about how great our sunscreen worked! We read the fine print, and realized our sunscreen was waterproof for only 40 minutes at a time, and while we had reapplied it at lunch, this was not nearly enough time.
