Mr. Specter TV Background

Mr Specter's TV Background. Mr Specter started with video and film at a young age. By the time he was in high school he was a volunteer at WQED working as a student producer on a TV show called “The Place.” The show was eventually distributed state-wide. He wrote several segments and learned many of the technical details that went into producing a television program. He also gave some highly forgettable performances as on-air talent. Not quite this young, but young. Upon returning to Pittsburgh Mr. S...

THE ART OF OUTDOOR ADVERTISING – By Craig Otto | Dymun + Company

None of us is as smart as all of us. THE ART OF OUTDOOR ADVERTISING – By Craig Otto. November 24, 2014. Normally I don’t publicly criticize the advertising efforts of others, but this outdoor board for the Warhol Museum is so astonishingly poor, I can’t keep silent. The creators of this outdoor advertising message should have taken a lesson from the master. Andy Warhol would definitely have known his message would never get read with type this puny. What does this mean! From → Uncategorized. You are comm...

None of us is as smart as all of us. Even Ford Can’t Resist Spamming Everyone. March 31, 2011. Sometimes there’s a fine line in direct marketing (and social media) between cultivating a relationship and spamming. In this case I’m pretty sure Ford drives (pun intended) right over the line without even seeing it. A few weeks had gone by when I received another text message from Ford. Ford: Thanks for your interest in Ford! While this message is not only very vague (what are these great offers? While this t...

None of us is as smart as all of us. Thoughts on the August Wilson Center by Dymun Partner/CD Craig Otto. November 19, 2014. I’ve been following with great interest the amazing drama presented by the August Wilson Center. Two weeks ago, the Center was rescued by Pittsburgh’s heroic foundations, and Dollar Bank was finally able to get a huge non-performing loan off of its books. The reason it’s not over is the same reason the whole mess began: Marketing (or its lack thereof). Years And what did it cost?
