Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Spring Break at South Llano State Park. We could not have asked for weather any better than this. The park was gorgeous and the kids had fun playing in the river. The kids took a Geocaching course from the Park Rangers, They had GPS units for each of the kids to use. Alison and I had already found the caches they were using, so she got to be a Junior Ranger and assist. Alison brought her pocket knife. Hiking with a few of the kiddos. The best part of camping is getting dirty.

Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Picnics and the Library. This week the kids made lunches after swim practice for a picnic. I have to say that it is a while lot easier now that they fix their own lunches and haul their own gear. I let them entertain themselves, I got out to go grab some pictures, I did not have the camera with me but my phone did a pretty good job. They spent a long time trying to get the ducks to eat out of their hands. Patrick got tired of the ducks, so he went over to feed the nutria. Twice I ...

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Halloween Camp Out 2012. My friend Christine and I camped out to get our reservations for this camp out last January 1st. We got the two camp sites that we wanted. We had 7 families this year. It was a little chilly at night, but the days were gorgeous. Alison and Jessie looked for places that Fairies might hide. Our Super Hero line up. We grabbed a neighbor from another campsite to grab this shot, we are missing a few of the adults though. Sunday, October 7, 2012. I tried to...

Monday, November 21, 2011. Happy Birthday To Me. I had a wonderful Birthday. Craig to me to lunch today so that we could enjoy some kid free time together. The kids helped Craig fix steak and baked potatoes for dinner. I am here writing my blog post, listening to the kids working together in the kitchen making me brownies. I have to say that my favorite part of my birthday is the handmade card from Alison that she did all on her own. I typed it out here, with her permission:. Wednesday, November 2, 2011.

Thursday, August 2, 2012. One of the things that we wanted a picture of was Patrick with Goofy. He did not enjoy it very much the first time around. Patrick was supposed to pretend to cry and be scared, he was laughing too hard to recreate the picture. A beautiful sunrise to see us off. The kids tried to talk us into renting the green Mustang convertible. Our hotel was very nice, we had a suite with a kitchen and a great pool to cool off in after the park each evening. Our first ride at Disney World.

Wednesday, April 11, 2012. This Easter we went to the farm to see Grammie and Grampy. We were able to get all of the Charbettes, Husbands and kids there as well as Stephen and Allison. We took advantage of that and met up with a photographer to get family photos taken. We had lots of fun seeing all of the baby animals and playing outside getting dirty. Dalton loved Aunt Kay's baby pigs. The black ones were his favorite. The playground equipment got a big workout this weekend. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sunday, September 25, 2011. Boy Scout - Family Camping. Fall is here and our camping season has started up. September is the month that families are welcome to camp with Patrick's Boy Scout Troop. Roxie and I went up early to claim a campsite for our family. We were in the same camping loop as the Boy Scouts, but far enough away to have a bit of down time. Our site was really nice, there was tons of room for Ali to set up her play tent and her chairs. We were also very close to the park playground. We fi...
