http://sciencelivesatvj.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
New Blog at New School. Teaching at Madison Central. Monday, February 21, 2011. Felt Right at Home. It was an eight year drought after making the Mississippi State Physics Competition for ten straight years at Cleveland High School. (In that time, we had one first, one third place and many honorable mentions). I took them to the contest (one was not able to attend) and felt right at home and was reminded again how much I enjoy challenging kids and giving them an opportunity to do their best among the best.

New Blog at New School. Teaching at Madison Central. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Velma Jackson MIC Project Students at Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. I finally was beginning to come out of the eclipse this year – the sun and light and hope have been largely hidden from view, and then . . . And then after a couple of weeks of extreme fatigue and chest pain and pushing myself to go to school each day, I reluctantly went to the doctor and he thinks I have pneumonia! For him to identify back in the lab.

New Blog at New School. Teaching at Madison Central. Thursday, October 21, 2010. A Second Chance for MIC. With help from two of the assistant superintendents, Dr. Polia Griffin and Ms. Charlotte Seals, transportation was arranged, and the second time around had a lot more schools and teams. The caterpillars were hiding for the most part, but we did find a few. Pictures of the day. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Not going this way. Alexis adopts Hero for the summer. New Blog at New School. Teaching at Madison Central. Sunday, March 28, 2010. This trip was one that exceeded my expectations. That makes three (sorry more numbers). The first was what I simply call "17." It was my 4400-mile solo motorcycle trip in the summer of 07. I had always wanted to see the rocky coast of Maine. Now for the eight days. Day One: Boston. My buddy, Rob, delivered me to the airport. Not Hugh Grant's brother). Jen Wren and Holly. I had a marvelous behind the scenes tour at the American M...
