The Angina Monologues: October 2006
http://theanginamonologues.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Growing old disgracefully in Ramsgate, Kent, England. Saturday, October 28, 2006. I've not been blogging much recently. I just feel worn out, what with all the health problems. I haven't been able to get up to the allotment, either. But it has been entertaining watching those two blogging walruses, Dr Simon Moores and Eastclliff Richard, slug it out on the virtual beaches of Thanet. Posted by The Angina Monologues @ 12:31 pm. The Angina Monologues: March 2007
http://theanginamonologues.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Growing old disgracefully in Ramsgate, Kent, England. Saturday, March 31, 2007. This Rhino electric scooter is turning out to be a real babe magnet. Charging through the forecourt to the Costcutter yesterday, I heard the cry: 'Young man! Thinking they meant anyone but me, I paid little attention. But then I noticed a wizened old woman standing by one of those souped up P reg Renaults. You know, the ones with the baked bean tins for silencers. Got her number, of course. Well, beggars can't be choosers.

http://in2thanet.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Hoping for an improved 21st Century Thanet. The views expressed are personal to Ken Read. Tuesday, 21 May 2013. Don’t worry about the NIMBYs lads, just check the landing fees are paid up. Sunday, 19 May 2013. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR! I have heard it so many times in Thanet politics “You couldn’t make it up could you”. When Rog was in power last time he was in charge of such successful schemes as EKO and Chinagate(way) which we all are appreciating to this day. Just a small reminder, in case you ...

INthanet: Beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning?
http://in2thanet.blogspot.com/2014/02/beginning-of-end-or-end-of-beginning.html
Hoping for an improved 21st Century Thanet. The views expressed are personal to Ken Read. Thursday, 20 February 2014. Beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning? 8220;Is your glass half full or is your glass half empty? 8221;, a common way of expressing how one views life,or in this case the Pleasurama site in Ramsgate. Not before time has a useless bunch of chancers been given the boot from this prime seafront location. So do we see it as a disaster or an opportunity? 21 February 2014 at 01:12.

The Angina Monologues: June 2006
http://theanginamonologues.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Growing old disgracefully in Ramsgate, Kent, England. Thursday, June 29, 2006. For Whom The Bell Trolls. I feel sorry for that chappie who runs the Thanet Life blog. It seems he's had to turn off his comments because of something called trolls. I don't know, this blogging game seems very complicated, perhaps it's best to stick to gardening. I'm off to stare nostalgically at my hosepipe. Posted by The Angina Monologues @ 11:39 am. Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Perhaps I should get that Diarmuid fellow in.

Growing old disgracefully in Ramsgate, Kent, England. Thursday, September 07, 2006. I've not been feeling too chipper of late, ever since that accident with the hypodermic syringe. Maybe I should go and get the old claret checked out. Still, when you're my age, every day's a bonus, so mustn't grumble. Probably just a summer cold. Posted by The Angina Monologues @ 11:43 pm. The Isle of Thanet Gazunder: Life's a Beach! with Dane Valley Ted

The Isle of Thanet Gazunder. Waxing the bikini line of local news. Contact us at thegazunder@yahoo.co.uk. Thursday, October 05, 2006. With Dane Valley Ted. This week: Margate Main Sands. Best known for it's numerous bonfire nights, this is a huge sandy beach with lovely sunsets and a good view of the wide open expanse of the former Dreamland site. That's just a nasty rumour started by my evil ex-wife:(. Why have the council bulldozed sodding great ramps of sand all the way along Margate beach? Broadstair...

The Isle of Thanet Gazunder: Who Breaks a Cabbage White Butterfly on a Bulldozer Wheel?

The Isle of Thanet Gazunder. Waxing the bikini line of local news. Contact us at thegazunder@yahoo.co.uk. Thursday, October 05, 2006. Who Breaks a Cabbage White Butterfly on a Bulldozer Wheel? There's been a lot of talk recently about the development of 40,000 new homes out at Westwood. Where once cabbages and cauliflowers grew, there will soon be regimented rows of houses, bringing more traffic chaos and more overcrowding to our isle. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
