The Isle of Islay is situated off the Mull of Kintyre and can be reached by both ferry and air. By Car/Sea - Approximately 2.5hrs car journey from Glasgow along the shores of Loch Lomond, Loch Long and Loch Fyne. The ferry port of Kennacraig is five minutes from the village of Tarbert on the A83. Where you can book ferry tickets or view their timetable.

How to find us. The 600-acre farm was bought by my mother and late father, in 1971. Once a lively stock and arable farm, it is now a successful Highland Pony Stud farm,run by my mother Jane. We also have cows, chickens, and a small flock of Icelandic and Hebridean sheep on the farm. This spring Jane had three new arrivals in the form of foals! They were born in the field just opposite Ellister's living room window. Also have a look out for the gorgeous chocolate coloured lambs.
