Sunrise, Sunset: FACEBOOK
http://little-kidlets.blogspot.com/2009/01/facebook.html
Monday, January 5, 2009. All I have to say is:. OMI-goodness.yes it is.try farming! You'll feel so self-reliant ;) (virtually, hehe). January 6, 2009 at 2:20 PM. You do start to get a certain obsession with looking at people and wondering if they are looking at you. We're all basic narcissists, really. Facebook just makes it harder to hide it! January 7, 2009 at 7:57 AM. Just a quick comment- I have to get back to my facebook page. January 7, 2009 at 1:30 PM. TOO TRUE. :). January 7, 2009 at 4:12 PM.

Sunrise, Sunset: November 2008
http://little-kidlets.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 12, 2008. So Denise tagged me like a month ago, and I am finally getting around to it. At least I'm doing it, right? So, it was a photo tag, and I was to go to the sixth folder in my photos and post the sixth photo. This is a picture of Briona when she was 3. She fell asleep while reading a book. "Like mother, like daughter", as Daniel would say. He has taken very similar pictures of me (which I'm not going to post). I tag Maralee, Chelsea, and Amy (again)! Tuesday, November 4, 2008.

Friday, March 28, 2008. Who needs a routine! I don't usually blog at 5:30 in the morning. I usually prefer to be sleeping. However blogging is exactly what I'm doing. "Why? Let's just say I'm not good at doing the whole single parent thing. I don't know how others do it. (I know Denise, I should just "suck it up"). Daniel and my mom left last night for Utah. (More on the reason for that below). They will be gone 3 days. Although I can. Oh well, one night (or maybe two) without rules or routine won't hurt.

Sunrise, Sunset: New Years Day
http://little-kidlets.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-years-day.html
Sunday, January 4, 2009. This New Years day will be one that we'll remember for awhile. It started out great. Then at about 10:30 we got the phone call. In a panicked voice my mom told us that the basement was flooded and that we should get home quick. Daniel rushed over, but I took a little more time, assuming it probably wasn't all that bad. Well, I was wrong. The whole basement had been effected, some areas at least an inch and a half deep. Daniel, my mom, myself, and George (what a saint! I just have...

Saturday, January 10, 2009. Welcome back to Real Life! It is really hard to get back in the swing of things after such a long vacation, but we did it! We made through the 1st full week in 2009! So what have I done this week? School, Job, Church, Kids. Yes all of the normal stuff and also a little more. I have done my spiritual goal, all week! This may not seem like much to most of you but for me it is a big deal. Consistency is not my strong suit (I bet you never knew! Monday, January 5, 2009. Then at ab...

Everyday life of my family. Sunday, May 4, 2008. A Farewell Vietnamese Style. My friend Jade's parents and siblings came over to our house on the last evening of their stay in Tokyo. We cooked and had a great feast of Vietnamese food! Cooking with all of Jade's family was so much fun. It made me so happy working with them in the kitchen. It reminded me so much of cooking with my mom and sister! Jade's wonderful mom rolling cha gio (fried spring roll). Jade preparing fried tofu in tomato chutney. Jake, Ma...

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. My Little Boy's Pockets. He has myheart in there, right next to the bottlecaps. I was speaking with a friend the other day, who has a 4yearold little boy, and she was telling me about how her son always has his pockets full of thingsthingsthings he’s collected. Did I smile and suddenly. LITTLE BOYS - 10times more than my already 100x100 times. These littleboyquirks are completely new and wondrous to me. I grew up with girlsgirlsgirls – we ruled. Friday, May 29, 2009. Woke at 5am this morning. I can’t believe the day has come. I looked out toward the steppe last night, and the land and I spoke. We came to an understanding. How could one not when the evening was so warm and breezy and scented with lilac? Goodbye good place. My 16months are up. I did it. Goodbye lace curtain that hangs in our doorway. The flies usually found their way in anyway, but I loved feeling that the great outdoors was a cool, smooth walk through you. Goodbye market merchant...
