For the men, Anthony Glover put in a strong showing to finish 3rd in a time of 16.21, just 10 seconds behind the winner - Bristol and West's Matt Crane. Running News in the South West. Sunday, 29 January 2012. Men and Women produce epic displays at the Midlands Cross Country Champs. Westbury's senior teams did the club proud finishing 5th team in the ladies and 6th team in the men, as a very high standard of athletes turned up to contest the 2012 Midland XC Championships at Woollaton Park in Nottingham. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has followed the blog over the past couple of years - between you all you clocked up nearly 50,000 page visits, which is a fantastic achievement! Running News in the South West. Thursday, 21 June 2012. Campbell 4th in Bitton 5k. Scott Campbell continued his comeback from injury with a solid 4th place and a time of 17.08 in last night's Bitton 5k. Campbell made a fast start in an attempt to stick with the leaders, but it cost him valuable time on the way back. Robin Phillips continued his return to form at last night's Towpath race, with a fine 4th place and a time of 37.33.
