To make the base blitz the almonds, apricots and powdered ginger in a food processor, till the nuts and apricots have broken down and are like big crumbs. Olive oil (or, water for sauteing). Crushed garlic (as much as you want). New potatoes, cubed. Green beans, cleaned and cut. Onion (I prefer white vidallia) quartered, then cut in long, thin slices.
