Lauren & Lincoln: work christmas party
http://laurenandlincoln.blogspot.com/2011/12/work-christmas-party_20.html
Tuesday, December 20, 2011. This year, we were fortunate enough to get to have our party at Carmine's. In Judiciary Square, which just happens to be one of my favorite restaurants. (Ok, it was my idea. I'm real lucky it worked out.). I didn't take any pictures of the food, because then I would probably drool over my computer screen every time I looked at them, but I did take some of the lovely people I got to call coworkers, and more importantly, friends! And Tricia, Amy, and Katharine on the other!

Lauren & Lincoln: peacing out
http://laurenandlincoln.blogspot.com/2012/02/peacing-out_03.html
Friday, February 3, 2012. So, here we are at the second to last post. I say second to last because my new blog will be up on Monday, and I’m planning to post the link here! I’ve been so flattered by all of you who have told me you miss this blog. Believe me, I miss it, too! And quite loyally, too. I kid you not, there were friends of friends who walked into my house and already knew me because of my blog! Absolutely. Occasionally, I would hear people say, “Oh mygoodness, I would never. 8221; Actually, I ...

Lauren & Lincoln: March 2011
http://laurenandlincoln.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 31, 2011. Matt wertz and ben rector concert. Ohhhh my goodness, I think I could spend all my days at Jammin' Java and it would be totally ok. I practically do anyway. On Monday night, Molly and I saw Matt Wertz. I think I've gushed about both of them on here before, but as is the case with pretty much everyone we see at Jammin' Java, they were amazing live! But I am not amazing at taking pictures of us. Hello, light-up bar. You are lovely. Ben Rector came out first! What a nice surprise.

Lauren & Lincoln: October 2011
http://laurenandlincoln.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. First of all, Happy Halloween! Sadly, I'm a full-blown adult this year and don't even have a costume. I had every intention of being a hydrangea (trust me, it would have worked), but it just never came together. Oh well, the kids are cuter anyway! All week, the weather had been calling for snow on Saturday, and we just laughed and laughed at how preposterous that would be. Guess who's laughing now? It snowed for at least three hours at our house! Friday, October 28, 2011. Thursd...

Lauren & Lincoln: November 2011
http://laurenandlincoln.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. While I was home for Thanksgiving, my sister and I took off to Chapel Hill on Saturday to watch our Tar Heels take on the yucky Blue Devils in their last regular reason game! Of course, Carolina crushed Duke, 37-21. But I got to see so many of my old college friends, and it was Senior Day for the kids who were freshmen when I graduated! My sister sent that text! Two alums back to watch the heels beat dook! Ok, last one, I promise. Loved the halftime show, as always! I had pl...

Wednesday, August 31, 2011. If you follow as many people on facebook and twitter and linkedin and picasa and stalkathon.com (not an actual thing) as I do, you're bound to come across some hilarious stuff. A couple days ago, one of my favorite photographers, Nancy Ray. Posted a link to this hysterical Barbie and Ken wedding shoot. That comes so close to how most wedding photos look these days that you can't help but be impressed! Here are some of my favorites. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. I did actually buy ...

Lauren & Lincoln: new york city!
http://laurenandlincoln.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-york-city_25.html
Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Since Megan and I both left ICMA on the same day (and since Megan had only ever visited NYC once in her life), we took a road trip up there the Tuesday before we moved! It was a cloudy but pretty day in the city, and the fact that it was a workday made it SO much easier to get around! New York at Christmas is usually a nightmare (I know, I did it twice last year), but going on a Christmas weekday made it more like a normal weekend, so it was much easier to navigate. Then, we ...
