My Life Without an EDIT Button . By Andrea Cary Tersigni aka ACT. Sunday, January 19, 2014. The Last Frontier in My Chemical Free Quest * * Henna. And yes . it was MESSY (thank goodness I lined my bath tub with plastic and leaned over the edge of the tub to apply). And there was nothing glamorous about it . I spent 8 hours looking like this. And what you don't see is how much it dripped and ran down my face and neck. UGH! First - do not pile hair full of henna on top of your head. It is HEAVY! Third - wh...

Pumpkin - Canning Dog Food
http://canningdogfood.com/2011/11/18/pumpkin
Canning Homemade Food for Dogs! Friday, November 18th, 2011 at 3:36 PM. Today I canned pumpkin. The day after Halloween I picked up 4 pumpkins for 50 cents each. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to get to them, and they were starting to go a little soft around the stem. I chose the best one (happened to be the smallest also) which had no signs of ageing. After cutting in half, I used a canning jar lid to scrape the stringy bits and seeds – scraping against the grain is fast and easy! The oth...

My Life Without an EDIT Button ...: 121 Days Late ... Better Than Never
http://andreacarytersigni.blogspot.com/2012/04/121-days-late-better-than-never.html
My Life Without an EDIT Button . By Andrea Cary Tersigni aka ACT. Monday, April 30, 2012. 121 Days Late . Better Than Never. I just realized I was not blogging in January 2012 because I had purged my home of all computers. Due to this fact - I did not "proclaim" my ONE WORD for the year. It took very little thought to select the five letter word that would dictate my actions in 2012. PURGE. That clogs up your life and needs to be expended. There is more, much more. It has taken a long time to reach the r...

My Life Without an EDIT Button ...: Year of Loss
http://andreacarytersigni.blogspot.com/2014/01/year-of-loss.html
My Life Without an EDIT Button . By Andrea Cary Tersigni aka ACT. Friday, January 3, 2014. Every year, folks experience loss. It may be a job, health, financial security, friends, pets as well as other less obvious occurrences that cause grief or sorrow. This year, I lost Alice. You may have read about her in one of my blog posts. You are missed Alice. My second loss was of my dear Norland. I wrote previously about the loss of pets in "Pet Passages". He went in the house - ate - then immediately started ...

My Life Without an EDIT Button ...: Best Holiday Gift So Far
http://andreacarytersigni.blogspot.com/2013/12/best-holiday-gift-so-far.html
My Life Without an EDIT Button . By Andrea Cary Tersigni aka ACT. Saturday, December 28, 2013. Best Holiday Gift So Far. As much as I adore Spike, having a dog can be disruptive when trying to live a spontaneous life. Earlier this week, Mom offered to take Spike on Friday and Saturday. May not sound like much - but to me it is liked a paid holiday vacation! Well - it is now Saturday evening and I am ashamed to say that the last thing I want to do is to pick-up Spike and bring him home . Not the Jet Set.

My Life Without an EDIT Button ...: Pet 'Passages'
http://andreacarytersigni.blogspot.com/2012/04/pet-peeves.html
My Life Without an EDIT Button . By Andrea Cary Tersigni aka ACT. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. What a little ball of mischief. Glancing thru my photos reminded me of the transitions/life changes that have occurred in the feline members of my household. 8221; To that the “adoption lady” added that he was affectionate and had the traits of a great mouser. I paid my $75 and put the little guy in a box. Time to go home to introduce him to Spike and Duri. Norland grew and grew and grew and grew. At 6 months,...

My Life Without an EDIT Button ...: Too Much Salt
http://andreacarytersigni.blogspot.com/2012/04/way-too-salty.html
My Life Without an EDIT Button . By Andrea Cary Tersigni aka ACT. Thursday, April 26, 2012. No, this is not about a recipe gone wrong. In my quest for organic/environmentally friendly gardening, I read that salt is a very effective weed killer. Makes sense. It dehydrates the weeds and kills them. Just don't become overzealous with the amount applied. So I purchased three bags - a total of 150 pounds. YEP - 150 lbs. Anyone have any weeds to kill? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
