There are a number walks and activities in and around Picton catering for all levels. Of fitness and interests. Closest to Brumabell Bed and Breakfast (a mere 2 minutes from the doorway) is the Tirohanga. A beautiful walk with views of Picton and the Queen Charlotte Sounds, aproximately 45 minutes each way. At the summit you have the choice of returning the same way or dropping over into Essons Valley. Two further walks can be started from Essons Valley, one which takes you to the lower Humphries dam.
