Me & My Sweettea: June 2012
http://doubleam.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 15, 2012. Eight months and on the move! Henry boy is 8 months old. He started army crawling at 6 months, pulled up to stand about a month later, and has progressed to a hands and knees crawl that is fast. He and the dogs often move around the house as a pack. Of course Lady is moving toward. Him and Sawyer is moving away. And speaking of dogs, I have trained Henry to kiss me just like our old pall Pavlov and that incredibly disgusting word: salivation. And in other news, he's getting hair!

Me & My Sweettea: November 2012
http://doubleam.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 22, 2012. What a difference a year makes. Baby Henry 6 weeks old. Sunday, November 18, 2012. Autumn falling, babies growing. Henry and Charlotte were reunited this weekend for a romp in a familiar field. Many moons ago, we took our little babies to the field, spread a pink blanket and took some pictures of them wiggling on their backs and examining each other's toes. I'm not sure they were even rolling much then.. Valentine's Day shoot, 4 and 5 months old. Easter shoot, 6 and 7 months.

Me & My Sweettea: January 2012
http://doubleam.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 20, 2012. A tribute to a rotten night's sleep. And then, probably due to the fact that I was fantasizing about sleeping somewhere far far away from these two ridiculous sleep-blocking Mitchell boys that I should be careful what I wish for. I don't really want to be without Andrew and Henry; they're my sunshine. Suddenly it dawned on me- these aren't problems, they're. So how did last night compare to the best night of my life? I suppose no night will ever measure up to 1/20/07, but even i...

Sunday, November 6, 2011. A picture-perfect autumn week. Henry had his first holiday last week- Halloween! Of course he slept through the pictures. And through the beautiful autumn walk. He also met his Uncle Toby and Aunt Monica for the first time! They already love him to pieces! A picture with Pawpaw. This was our first family picture, and Drew had come straight home from coaching, so he's not too thrilled with out it turned out! Don't worry- there will be many more where that came from. Finding great...

Me & My Sweettea: September 2011
http://doubleam.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 16, 2011. At some point, when I get on my work computer, I'll post the shower pics of the great surprise lunch/shower Natalie threw me in July. But for now, here's some pictures of the shower held at my mom's house from late August. My mom worked very hard on all of the little details. My friend, colleague and Toby's mother-in-law, Ursula, prepared the most delicious spread! Here she is getting the chocolate fondue station ready. yum. Some other little details. Love you, Mo! Expecting t...

Me & My Sweettea: December 2014
http://doubleam.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 8, 2014. To kick off his third year, Henry's Grandma and Grandpa threw him a GRAND barnyard bash complete with a petting zoo and pony to ride. Grandma even hired a gal from her church to take photos and they turned out so well! I wish I could just include all 200, but I quickly chose some good ones to tell the story of the day:. Are you ready, Henryboy? Uncle Baker grilled burgers. The fort was put up just in time for the party. Starting with the youngest: cousin Boone. Mark Isaac, Doug.

Me & My Sweettea: March 2014
http://doubleam.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 4, 2014. The weekend we met Amos. Waddling around the neighborhood. The week leading up to Amos's birth was difficult. I had spent the previous week in a nesting frenzy, getting everything organized for the new baby. That week had gone by quickly. But my second week of maternity leave was trying. Of course the discomforts of late pregnancy nagged me: "Ok, I just went to the bathroom twenty minutes ago. how can I possibly. Have to go again? In the climbing tree. I could hear a little panic ...

Thursday, December 29, 2011. A reflection on maternity leave/parenthood. Well, here we are- on the precipice of returning to work and the culmination of my two and a half months of maternity leave. I have very mixed feelings about the return to work- I am so excited to see my colleagues again (Hilary, I missed you! Will he miss me? It's amazing how becoming a parent has helped. Andrew and me assess our own strengths and weaknesses- and how it has challenged us in many ways. Life was much easier without H...

Sunday, February 22, 2015. Amos Dean the Party Machine! The babiest of our babies turned one last weekend! It took me a really long time to collect these pictures, so I'll have to make the writing brief. At 12 months old, Amos loves saying "mama" and "dog" and signing "all done" so he can get out of his high chair. He likes to feed the dogs pieces of his lunch and he loves pushing cars around while trying to say "vroom! A picture for each milestone month. I am sad that we didn't end up with a picture of ...
