体験塾では、エコビレッジライフに必要な自給的な暮らしやグループワークの実践体験を積みながら、環境に配慮したライフスタイルを学びます。持続可能なまちづくりについて考える機会を多くの人と共有しながら、ネットワークを広げることを目指しています。 昨年から準備を進めていた北海道エコビレッジ推進プロジェクト（略称ＨＥＰＰ）のＮＰＯ法人化ですが、ようやくこの1月31日に正式に設立されました。 2009年に開設して以来、体験塾を中心とする啓発・研修活動をメインに行ってきましたが、法人化をきっかけにいよいよ北海道にエコビレッジを建設する動きを開始します。と言っても、まだ用地も取得していないので、すぐに建設工事が始まるわけではありません。2012年の目標は道内にエコビレッジを建設するための「基本構想」を策定することです。 具体的には約4haの農地をモデルにして、20～30人の住民が住み、働くことを想定した土地利用、建物のデザイン、エネルギーや汚水処理などの技術検討、住民の生計を支え地域へ還元するための事業計画をたてます。 目標は「住民の食べ物、エネルギー、仕事の約7割を自給する&...今年の体験塾は終了。最...
