Despite abnormally cool temperatures and a few rain drops, we headed out to participate in the annual Chalk Art Festival at Uptown this morning. It's always the perfect way to kick-off summer, even though the weather feels nothing like summer so far this June. We got started first thing this morning while the sun was making a rare appearance. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. One Month has passed since surgery. Many changes have occurred. Some expected; some not. I knew I would be tired. But, I did not expect my tastes to change. This has proved to be quite a challenge. Hard to get my needed protein in because of this but I am working on it. Looking for other sources. I am pleased that my diabetes appears to be improving.
