Claim your FREE WHISKY! Mood Malts & Seasonal Sauce. 1995 Imperial single cask # 50145, bottled by Signatory. August 6, 2015. Region – Speyside – 46% ABV – still available here and there for around $80-85. Imperial distillery – dismantled then destroyed, and now, in 2015, resurrected as the Dalmunach distillery. Sadly, they’re not trying to replicate what Imperial produced at this new distillery. Still, it’ll be exciting to see what Dalmunach produces. What does this one taste like? Your mouth, not.

Tasty Tasty Whisky: April 2009
http://tastytastywhisky.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
So I was walking down the road on one of my lunchtime walks and I was passing a fine establishment called Centre City Wines and Spirits. Outside there was a blackboard with a list of whiskies you can walk in and taste. First on the list was this exceptional drop! 21yo cask strength. Dang! 565%, bottle 6394 out of 6642, bottled in 2007. And interestingly it is in a 750ml bottle. And by the gods I liked it. The nose is even more peaty and a lot warmer the the 16yo. Flavorwise. Surprising Old Malt Cask.

SWMS Whisky Tasting - Wellington. Scotch Malt Whisky Society Tasting. Thursday, 4th March, 2010. Museum Hotel, Wellington, NZ. Myself and 30 other random whisky fans. To find new and Salubrious whiskies to try. You know, it's a long time between whisky tastings at regional. A whole month for crying out loud! How could a relatively normal person like myself go a whole month without tasting whisky. I couldn't I just couldn't! Luckily my roving Australian (eeeww) whisky reporter, Donna sent me an article.
