Thursday, October 4, 2012. This is famous JLH headphone amplifier I just finished from ebay kit.I was curious about the sound quality. It's superb, although not as sweet as 6SN7 tube headpone amp I built a while ago, still very pleasant liquid classA sound. There is small mistake on the schematics and PCB. Friday, December 30, 2011. The system is biamplified using active crossover, has 31 band digital eq and tube amp for mids/heights and solid state for woofers. Signal sources are the same as before, Cambridge Audio CP player (dual Wolfson), SAE FM tuner, Technics SP25 with ATOC9 cart, some Onkyo Integra deck and preamp (used only for signal switching and RIAA), and digital tape player. Friday, May 14, 2010. Small open baffle speakers. I made these speakers from spare drivers.mostly. I had 12" Blaupunkt subwoofers, than I had four 4" Tesla midranges.
